Is Gatlinburg Open for Spring Break 2017?
YES! Although Gatlinburg suffered from the wildfires of November, 2016, the things you know and love about Gatlinburg await you! After the wildfires Gatlinburg experienced a great deal of compassion and an outpouring of love and service from so many of our locals, visitors and people from around the country. We could never thank everyone for all they have done to help Gatlinburg, surrounding communities like Cobbly Nob, Wears Valley, Shield’s Mountain and other areas that burned in the Chimney Tops 2 fires of 2016.
The great news is Spring is a rebirth for tourism and vacations in the mountains! We can already see a beautiful new Gatlinburg blooming and we welcome you back to the Arts and Crafts Community, our cool Downtown Gatlinburg strip, attractions like Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and Ober Gatlinburg, and all of the restaurants and shops you love to visit.
Cabins, hotels, bed and breakfasts, resorts, campgrounds all await you and welcome you back to the beautiful little town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
